Omg omg!

Just tweeted by Graham McTavish on a night out with the boys after a good week:

We have, from the left, James Nesbitt, Dean O'Gorman, Aidan Turner, Jed Brophy, mystery lady and Stephen Hunter. BUT!!! See the reflection on the right side:

A brief hint of adorable face! Is it him? Is it Martin? <3

xD

A 'prelude' to a great weekend ahead!

Been a busy day for me. I was barely able to finish up my stuff on hand that I got dragged out for yet another meeting. Posting a quickie now on some Martin pics. As a a 'treat' to TGIF~ Will post more tonight. :)

P/s: Hope you guys like the new, brighter, look of this blog. I will love some feedback. :)

Hmm, someone's not too happy...

This exchange between Amanda and Simon just came up in Twitter. Yup, pretty obvious there. Hubby Martin went to Middle Earth for a seven week 'Hobbit hiatus' and wifey Amanda's not too cheerful about it. ^^;

The magical eye color of Martin

Thanks to a very nice fellow fan at IMDB, who comments on my post on Martin's actual eye color. By far, she is the only one who managed to give me a 'satisfied' answer. So kudos to sadfilmophile, turns out that dear Martin's eyes are all blue, grey and brown.

Svengali

Just got news that Martin's Svengali will be shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival in June! Check out the trailer below:-

A Happy Birthday to Adam Brown!

Wow, so many members of The Hobbit are having their birthdays in May and so close together! This time is Adam Brown, a.k.a. Ori's turn! :)

Here's lotsa chips from me to him. Hehe.

He's out having a celebration with some of the dwarves earlier today.

From left: Stephen Hunter, James Nesbitt, Dean O'Gorman, Mark Hadlow, the birthday boy himself and the sunshiny Aidan Turner~ <3. Hmm, I wonder who took the pic for them.

Poor Graham can only see the pic on Twitter due to early morning shoot tomorrow. Do I smell abit of sour grapes there?

Not such a good day for me though. -.-''' It all started yesterday when I took the wrong bus, got home to find my computer dead. Then this morning, I accidentally deleted like a few hundred pictures used in my blog. I just spent like three hours to get everything up and running again... As for my computer, it spurred and sputtered for a brief ten minutes after I specially went down to my boyfriend's to borrow his laptop. *Sobs*

The one who always got cropped off...

This post is dedicated to the woman behind our dear Martin - Amanda Abbington. The one who always either got cropped off or out of focus in pictures. ^^; Like many Martin fans I believe, I didn't want to accept the fact that Martin already has someone in his life and the love is going so strong.  Then soon, it became yet another reason for you love Martin even more. <3

Following the trail of Tweets

Latest update today from The Hobbit cast, we have Graham McTavish, Adam Brown and Luke Evans. :) Although, Martin does not have Twitter account himself but it's fun following the rest who have it. ^_~

A really nice poster of The Hobbit I found yesterday. =))

Rocking on at 91!

And I quote, from the admin of TheOneRing.Net: "What will you be doing on your 91st birthday? If you are Sir Christopher Lee, you are releasing a heavy metal album based on the life of the French ruler Charlemagne."

(The album in various formats can be ordered here: Audio CD | MP3 | Vinyl)

Yup, this is the rock album we are talking about the other day and it's released on Sir Christopher Lee's 91st birthday on 27th May 2013. Now, how many people can (live to no offense) celebrate their 91st birthday PLUS releasing a rock album? Only Sir Chris, I will say. Happy belated birthday from Singapore! Rock on, Saruman!!!

100% Middle Earth

I've been busy working, following tweets and trolling the New Zealand websites for information on whether or not The Hobbit 2: Desolation of Smaug will follow The Lord of the Rings' 'tradition' and have another premiere in Wellington.

Fan made poster of Desolation of Smaug featuring the White Council.
Quite professionally done, I must say. Nice!

As in, the LOTR series had both Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King's world premiere in Wellington. And the second film, The Two Towers, although it's not the world premiere, they had another premiere in Wellington as well. Thus, being the second film of The Hobbit trilogy, I am hopeful. Coz'...

It's Monday again... After a long weekend...

Because I have Martin Freeman~ =X Haven't done one of these Martin pic posts for awhile. I'm not too sure which country's search engine I had ventured into (I think it's Greece...), but I managed to find some great pics. :) Hope they chase away your Monday blues like they chase away mine! ^_^

P/S: The more I look at Martin's face, the more I wish my future son (if I have one) will look like him. Does that sound wrong? ^^;

A compilation I made from the pics I found. =))

Seems like a blast! xD

The dwarves have tweeted about a great party and looks like they all have a blast in celebration for Sir Ian's 74th birthday! =) I hope they include that in the movie's Blu-Ray extras. =X

And... 25th May is also... Towel Day~

It's Towel Day! Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). On this day, fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honour. (Source: http://towelday.org/) The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy is one of Martin's popular work as well. So let's commemorate this day! xD

Also, finally an 'excuse' to upload the excerpts which Martin read out some of the chapters from the book itself. :) It's night time over here in Singapore now, thought that with his soothing voice, they can make a great bed time story~ Happy Towel Day! =))

25th May is a special day!

It's Sir Ian McKellen's 74th birthday today! Happy Birthday! Live long and prosper! ^_^

Something I made for Sir Ian within a short time! =) Will love to draw something
for him if I have more time. >_<

Kuso

It's the second day of the long weekend over here in Singapore. Here I am, wishing it not to end so soon. Anyways, updating a quickie on weird things.

Started a forum topic the other day about the weird dreams Martin's fans had before. And one of them was, Dixon, Martin's bad guy character in Wild Target, selling toothpaste... Thus, the pic I created to show how weird that dream was... =P

Other weird stuff that happened this week:

Poor Amanda...

A Twitter convo between Amanda and Simon, according to her, 'M' ( I assume it's Martin) is going away soon. Hmm, to NZ finally?

They were later 'joined' by Jamie Freeman a.k.a. Martin's elder brother. Watching over Amanda for your little bro, Jamie? =P

Other updates from the rest of The Hobbit casts (mainly the dwarves):

Prepare to get annihilated...

The new, bigger and longer trailer for The World's End ish here~!

More Martin this time and his lovely voice! <3

That's a wrap on Sherlock (?)

Right about this time, UK is coming alive on Twitter and tweets have started flooding. According to Sherlock's cinematographer, Steve Lawes (@SteveLawes), they have reached the end of shooting for Sherlock:

"It's been emotional", tweeted Steve Lawes (far left), along with this picture.
Lol, Martin, what're you doing? xD

And, there's also gonna be a "new, bigger and longer trailer for The World's End"!!! That's in like 4-5 hours' time for Singapore. Looking forward to it. :))

Now, on to Wellington...

Tweeted yesterday by Peter Jackson's daughter, Katie Jackson (@Katiejackson96). A night hanging out with Adam Brown at Tenacious D:

The perks of being the daughter of Peter Jackson.

Be prepared for Barmaggedon!

Edgar Wright reveals 2 new posters for The World's End on his website!

Here's the international version:

So... Little Martin's still shooting Sherlock in the UK...

The Baker St Babes (@BakerStBabes), Sherlockians, Cumberbitches, Freebitches (like me) and many more are going crazy on Twitter. Apparently, Benedict and Martin are still shooting Sherlock as of 21st May. Here's a pic of Martin with a cute little moustache. =X I think it's fake moustache though coz' he wasn't sporting one in other scenes, so. ^^;

Are you ready~?

Just got news on @theoneringnet's Twitter! The Hobbit's pickup filming has officially gone underway:

Based on the Facebook post, the man, Peter Jackson, posted. (Not sure who is the photobomb here. xD)

And also tweets from Jed Brophy (@BrophyJed) a.k.a. Nori and Stephen Hunter (@StephenJHunter1) a.k.a. Bombur. I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for any pics of Martin. =X

I'm so excited! I have been telling my boyfriend how we are going to fly over for the premiere in late 2013. And yes, I am going to see to that happening. =P For more news, check out Stuff.co.nz who will be 'following' and 'tracking' The Hobbit's production closely. Yay for The Hobbit fans~

Martin Freeman's Quiz on IMDB

Just happened to 'chance' upon this quiz. Try it out here:

Only managed to get 6 out of 10 correct for the 'Genius' level. =( But I feel question 4 is no fair. =/

Sherlock Postcard Set~

The latest July issue of [Screen] Magazine ish out~~ And they are giving away Sherlock's postcard set. Should I get it? >_<

Obviously this time they're featuring Leonardo DiCarprio for The Great Gatsby but they do have a feature on the hottest star to look out for the 2nd half of 2013 and a sneak peak at Sherlock season 3 (According to the content brief found on [Screen] magazine's website: http://screenstore.jp/shopdetail/003001000080/). Benedict is amongst one of them. Ok, I'm getting it. Will share scans of the postcards from the magazine when I get my claws hands on it. =X

UPDATE: Just called up Books Kinokuniya and the magazine will be coming in tomorrow late afternoon~ Wee~ xD

Nativity! (Beware: Loaded with self-made GIFs)

Finally, I managed to finish the stuff for this Nativity! post. I've watched it twice so far and it has became another one of my fave Martin movie. <3 I'm planning on getting the Blu-Ray for this movie. Hehe.

While scrolling through the movie, looking for cute Martin moments, I just impatiently wished I have already finished making all the GIFs, lying in bed and watching Nativity! for the third time. It's just so heartwarming and sweet. =)) My boyfriend and I had a good laugh the other day watching this movie. <3

Check out the GIFs and one of my favorite songs, 'One Look' from the Nativity! OST, that I grown to love so much after the jump. ^_^

Can't think of anything new to post...

With Martin filming pickups for The Hobbit in New Zealand, there isn't much news of him to post about. =/ At least not from work. I will make more posts tonight instead. Maybe even get down to making that video I have been wanting to make of Martin. But you know, it's easier said than done. -.-'''

Anyways, ventured over to South Korean, Italian and French websites. Managed to come up with some interesting photos of Martin which I have not seen before (Yeah, I know I'm slow...).

Benedict's Sinister Monologue

This is a wallpaper I made after watching Star Trek Into Darkness, finally, last night. You guys are welcome to request from me a version without Simon in the background. =P To be honest, I really did go watch Star Trek because of Benedict Cumberbatch and Simon Pegg. ^^; (My boyfriend dozed off several times throughout the movie, it's just not his type of movie... -.-''')

Following the tweets~

An update from Adam Brown a.k.a. Ori's Twitter account: @BrownAds, the Hobbit casts are currently stopping over at LAX airport on the way to New Zealand. =)) And yes, I think Martin is amongst the The Hobbit cast in LAX airport right now. <3

My 'supporting' evidence and 'deduction' after the jump. =X
