Going to go broke...

Merchandises for The Desolation of Smaug are already available for pre-order.

The picture above is actually one of the 2 new promo pictures released for the 2nd instalment of The Hobbit. The other one being this one of the Dwarves in the barrel scene:

According to Jed, it's from the visual companion. Perhaps the cast already get to see the contents of the upcoming publications?

Anyways, some of the publications' cover artwork has actually been released. We have the activity book, with a rather attractive and tempting cover. It looks like another children's book, with a set of stickers to go along with it. I think I'm adding this to my list. =X

The visual companion:

I can think of the number of things I can do with the stickers! xP

Not forgetting the art & design book from the geniuses behind the movie - Weta workshop:

And looks like the cast themselves already gotten a sneak peek of the books? This picture is one of the two promo-pictures (the other one being the one at the start of this post) released for The Desolation of Smaug:

Ahh, they all look soo good! It must be their evil plan to put them up to tempt us fans! >_<

I've basically bought all books released for The Hobbit when the first movie came out, well, all except the children's storybook of coz'.

This year, they seems to have even more publications under The Desolation of Smaug and even as most of them, whose cover artwork has not even been up, they are already for pre-order on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=desolation+of+smaug

I'm going sooo broke! T_T

Meanwhile, some updates from the lads on Twitter/Facebook. Mr. Dwalin is back in LA for now:

Where he should be meeting the other lads as well including Adam:

Adam has also made some time out to change his cover photo and avatar on Twitter, which I like a lot:

Even Graham likes it. xP He calls it 'very broodling'. Hehe.

As for Oin, John Callen, he is away on holiday in Europe. Seems really relaxing!

Well, it's counting down 115 days more to the release of The Desolation of Smaug. Seems to be more like some 115 years to me... ;_; Hopefully PJ gives us a new video blog to satisfy our 'hunger' soon!
